Membership

Enrollment in the Affiliation is accessible to Indian citizens who support its aims and objectives and either live or are utilized in India, pending endorsement by the Official Committee of the Affiliation.

Individuals from other nations may moreover be acknowledged as individuals with a suggestion from the Affiliation and the National Official Committee, as long as they concur to follow to the Scout/Guide Guarantee point by point underneath:

General Members
Special Members
Ordinary Members
Honorary Members
Life Members
Institutional Members
General Individuals:- The Common Individuals of the Affiliation are as it were recipients and are not Uncommon Individuals inside the meaning of Section-15 of S.R. Act (XXI) of 1860 and they should be :

CUBS/BULBUL (+5 to 11 years)

SCOUTS/GUIDE (+11 to 16 years)

ROVER/RANGER (+16 to 25 years)

of affiliated/registered bunches to this Affiliation, its branches at State, Dist., or Nearby Association.

NOTE:- THE COMMON INDIVIDUALS SHOULD NOT BE QUALIFIED TO HOLD ANY OFFICE OR STAND FOR DECISION TO ANY OFFICE AT ANY LEVEL.

1. Special Members:

Individuals who have rendered extraordinary benefit to the development may be conceded as Uncommon Individuals by the National Official Committee under Section 15 of the Social Orders Enrollment Act (XXI) of 1860.

2. Ordinary Members:

Ordinary Individuals are conceded by the National Official Committee upon installment of a yearly enrollment charge, right now Rs. 100, subject to modification. They gather each three for a long time, and the National Board chooses one designated for each 20 Conventional Individuals to speak to them.

3. Honorary Members:

The National Board may concede up to six Honorary Members in acknowledgment of their noteworthy commitments to the development. These individuals consequently connect the State/National Chamber.

4. Life Members:

6. Other members:

Branch State Affiliation individuals paying Rs. 1,100 every year (or as decided by the Official Committee) and individuals of subsidiary Zonal, Locale, or Divisional Affiliations qualify as Other Individuals. In any case, rights and benefits are suspended if their State Affiliation falls flat to pay the national association charge.

Under the National Council, the following rights are given to other members:
– Vote in the National Council and National Executive Committee if nominated or elected.
– Check any books of accounts and the minutes book of the Association.
– Attend seminars, meetings, lectures, discussions, conferences, and tours.
– Enjoy some publications, newsletters, magazines, and journals for free.

Withdrawal of Membership
Members can withdraw associations with the Association by writing a request to the Chairperson or Secretary of the National Executive Committee.

Expulsion from Membership
The National Executive Committee can expel an individual or suspend a member for:
– Working against the Association’s aims and objectives.
– Resignation.
– Absence for three meetings consecutively.
– Being found guilty in the investigation by the law court.
– Nonprompt payments of dues.
– Untenable circumstances some some death.

Notification of Expulsion:- The facts of expulsion will be notified in writing information to the ex-member.

Appeal and Re-admission
National Council may consider the appeal of the people who have been expelled and seek re-admission into the Association. National Council decision is the final.
